Selection of unique bites as great and the food delicious, cooked to liking. BUT THE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. We waited at the table for a long time without even a hello and No menus, No one asked how our meals were, we never got asked if we wanted another drink from bat even though glasses were empty, server forgot to put in our appetizer... while meal itself was great, due to the disgraceful service I probably won't be back... And it wasn't even busy
Everything was fabulous... Even the overpriced oysters. Just the day before, I had a dozen in Cape Charles, Va for $ 2 each instead of $ 3 each. I normally eat all I want for $ 1 each.
Very good... we chose this place because it was dog friendly and they were very accommodating.
If Jake's was anywhere other than Flemington it would be nothing special but it is definitely the best bar here. Great drinks, great food. Respectable atmosphere. Restaurant is also great. Good specials, Sunday buck a shuck (usually) and good beer selection.
This is a great place for a nice sit-down dinner or a casual drink with some friends. The bartenders are very attentive and both food and drinks are served in a timely manner. Two of my favorite meals are the Buffalo mac and cheese and the Cajun fish tacos, but I've also enjoyed every other meal I've ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant and bar.
