I normally don't leave a comments/ratings but after reading the first review on here I feel like I must. I googled The Plaza Cleaners just to get the phone number and I see on here that ONE person has a bad experience and leaves a negative review while hundreds upon hundreds of customers like myself are completely satisfied with the service but never leave a review or write anything positive. Being a business owner myself, I don't think that is very fair. So let me be the second customer on here to leave a positive review and tell you that this is a perfectly respectable dry cleaners. The staff is friendly and the cleaning is great. And like the previous reviewer Ryan stated, if for some reason I'm not happy with the cleaning, they will clean it again FOR FREE. Not every dry cleaners will do that. So don't let the ONLY negative review on here deter you.
If I could give less than one star I would. They we're rude, expensive, and really not worth the items we dropped off.
Let me start off by saying that I have been a customer of the Plaza Dry Cleaners for about 9 years now. They have always done a great job with cleaning my clothes. On the rare occasion that I do have a problem, they redo my item free of charge and without any hassle. The employees at the counter have always been friendly and courteous to me. And since I've been coming there for so long, most of them will greet me by name which is nice. I love that they now are a "green" cleaners and no longer use any dry cleaning chemicals. The prices are a bit higher since they switched to the green cleaning, but I don't mind paying a little extra to reduce my carbon footprint. I would recommend Plaza Dry Cleaners to anyone that is eco-conscious or is just looking for a good quality dry cleaners.
I took six wrinkle resistant pairs of pants and several shirts to be laundered and when I dropped them of I specifically told them they were NOT to be dry-cleaned. The labels in each garment clearly stated Do Not Dry Clean. When we went to pick them up the price was so excessive and I asked why. The clerk was very rude and told me that all of the items had been dry-cleaned and not laundered, as requested. I told him that I have specifically instructed that these were not to be dry-cleaned and he told me that It WAS NOT MY CHOICE, that HE DECIDES HOW TO CLEAN everyone’s clothes. Their process totally destroyed one pair of the pants and they did not care. This company is very unprofessional and does not have any concept of customer service. Not only will I never use them again, other friends of my husband have stated they also had similar experiences and will not use this company again, either.
