Nice upgrades since our last visit. We had a microwave and small fridge in the "kitchenette", but to me a kitchenette must have at least one stove type burner or it is Not a kitchenette. Many hotel or motel rooms have microwave and fridge. Nice free breakfast, and friendly staff. Nearby stores and restaurants, and fudge shop. Many nearby farm markets. Quiet comfortable rooms with lots of outlets for your electronic devices. Easy to find, lots of parking. A few very minor repairs would greatly improve the room. Overall well worth the price!
The worst place to ever stay! They should say renovated front, not rooms. These rooms all look the same. Maybe different mattresses bit that's it. I stayed there last night because my family and I had a emergency at home and needed to stay out the night. I put my daughter who is 1r months to sleep at 2 am. I go to use e bathroom and I find a cockroach roaming in the bathroom sink.I call the frontdesk and their resolution was to move me to another room. My daughter is already sleeping why am I going to move to another room. I go to the front in the morning and am told I can't be even compensated for the disgusting inconvenience! I even took the son Omar to the room (107) and showed him the roach and confirmed it. Wrapped it up in toilet paper and apologized for the mishap. The manager Naveede refused to accept the fact there was a roach in the room and told me he can not do anything about it. He said I should have went to the Ramada instead. He is 100% right. Same price and I mean if I wanted roaches in my room of go there... Refused to accept the fact t he has roaches! Never again!
Fit the bill for our stay of 2 nights. Price was very reasonable. Room was clean. New bathroom. Would stay again.
BEWARE... when giving credit card/debit card information. Front desk appears to be friendly and humble while you are present. Once you leave his attitude changes. He curses and disrespectful toward you. Charges were placed on my card, claiming I damaged the room. When I asked for photos of the damage none were provided. Scam to get more money. I live in NY. I'm not traveling to Jersey (again) to dispute charges. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is astounding! Service at desk is horrible. If you can pay with cash, please do so. Once you are gone there is a chance you will be charged DAYS later, not the day of check out if damages are truly made to your room. Be careful.
This place is only getting one star because it won't let me rate it otherwise. We rented two rooms, both left in perfect condition, even made the beds, and the GM who lives there as well said we "trashed" the rooms. Then when I asked him and showed the pictures he gave us the wrong room numbers and refuse to take us off their "banned" list. For the price they charge the rooms are very outdated, dirty, and have strange smells. Even if I could go there I wouldn't. The owner and his wife are crazy, arrogant, lunatics. They definitely fit their race stereotype sad to say.
