WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!!!!! I had some returns and even exchanges to make on a VERY LARGE online order. The woman who was checking me out was EXTREMELY RUDE and out of line!! As she was ringing my returns she was tossing them over her head where they were landing everywhere, all over the floor, all different parts of the back wall, etc. She then rang something in wrong and had to re-ring everything in again (which later caused me to not get refunded for items and I left the store already without the article of closing and no money back on my card). When it came time to exchange jeans i purchased for another set of jeans which were the same exact price, she told me she couldn't exchange them because they weren't the SAME EXACT jean! I explained i have been shopping at AE for over 15 years and have never heard of such a policy. I then asked for customer services number to speak with them about the policy and she told me she would exchange the jeans as an exception this one time for me (as if she was going me a favor, NOT!) and let me "reuse" my 40% off coupon i used on my online order, which doesn't make sense since its an even exchange I'm not "reusing" anything. When she rang the pants in she took the promo of B1G1 50% off (which is what the current in store promo has been AND what I purchased the jeans for online along with using my 40% off coupon) and just took 40% off the retail value of the jeans. I then asked for customer services number again as she is not honoring my even exchange. She then yelled "WOW" and I just looked at her and asked her if she just "wowed" me and she ignored me and rolled her eyes. She then honored what i originally purchased the jeans for, WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE FROM THE BEGINNING!!!!!! needless to say, Customer Relations has been contacted about this poor customer service AND because of her throwing my articles of clothing around, it resulted in me not getting a refund for items and me walking out of the store without them and realizing this on my way home that i did not get the refund i should have!
