If I could go lower than 1 star I would. I have been seeing therapists and psychiatrists through hunterdon for over a year. I'm still not getting the help I need. I was admitted to st Luke's for a suicide attempt and the therapists and doctors did nothing to adjust my medications or strategies. They honestly didn't care. My therapist would forget each session and by the time we caught up we had run out of time. I never got help. The current therapist I have falls asleep while I'm speaking. Oh yeah I feel sooooooo helped. F*** you hunterdon. Not to mention, they don't care about your wellbeing. Just that they are being paid. Please, PLEASE. If you or someone you care about needs help. DO NOT GO TO HUNTERDON
I'm writing this review on behalf of another person who received services here. The building is full of mediocre therapists. They are not even in the reputable Magellan Network. That means they are not covered by many Aetna health insurance policies. However, they will act like they are: BEWARE. Was billed $800 for 3 visits. They like to only send bills out once a month in the hopes of the patient not realizing that they are not covered. Therapists rushed to give daily treatment - practically unheard of in this field. The only explanation is that if you do that, and your insurance does not cover them, you will owe them many thousands of dollars. Any business which makes it their priority to extract money from unknowing customers has no credibility in my book.
I am not happy right Now! I was referred to this place by my doctor. My appointment was at 230! I got there at 232 my bad. Filled all the paperwork out, had to to the desk by 250. It was NOW 325 and NO ONE came for me! The receptionist even closed the blinds and locked the doors with me sitting there. I walked out now they keep calling me! Never using them again!
