I went in for temperature light that was on and was charged $430 to be fixed. The next week the same thing happened and it wound up destroying my engine. I had to junk the car. I would not recommend.
In my case, I found them to be either dishonest or incompetent. My check engine light was on. They said that I needed a new timing chain which would cost $1649. Went to another mechanic who said that I needed a charcoal canister, a repair that cost me $500. Two months later, the light is still off and I just passed inspection. Thank goodness I got a second opinion! My new mechanic said that I might need a timing belt, but the light would come right back on
They’re really good mechanics, takes care of my business and personal vehicles.
I am not sure if the auto mechanics business is different than mine where customer experience and good service is key for the business. Have not gone back and will not after that. On the other hand, they were honest indeed when I left some belongings and they promptly called me about it.
Great experience for the last two years. I bring both my '06 Infinity and my '12 Sierra to Honest-1 and have never had any issues. Reasonable price, good work, Saturday availability. I'm a 'car guy' and very critical about who works on my rides.....
I like the facilities and the clarity of the invoice. On the other hand, I was surprised to see that the owner lacked the basics in customer service. When I approached him to ask for a set of windshield wipers, I was rudely told to wait even though he was seemingly looking at some internal paper.
